An hour into the trek, you cross a forest of pine and maple trees, after which there is a beautiful green meadow. After having packed lunch at Jwara, you will continue through the lush green meadows onwards to Balu Ka Gera. Gradually along this route, the treelike will start to disappear as you approach Balu ka gherao. The trail has a moderate incline and you will be following the Rani river upstream.
